The inflation in bitcoin is characterised as “steady and constant” — it’s a point of note both Satoshi Nakamoto and John F Nash Jr., used this exact same description of their money (Nash in Ideal Money, and Satoshi in bitcoin) forms to be used in contracts — just as gold and silver were— for example, from the old gold standard — became adopted in “gold clauses” of yesteryear to standardise money units against currency fluctuations.
